What services are offered in my ENT practice?
General ear, nose and throat medicine
The visit to my practice includes detailed diagnostics and therapy in the field of conservative and surgical ENT medicine.
Each patient undergoes a complete ENT medical examination, hearing diagnostics (tone and speech audiograms, impedance measurements), balance diagnostics and endoscopic examinations of the nasopharynx and larynx area.
Children’s ear, nose and throat medicine
I take care of children with acute infections with a special focus on fast pain relief. We therefore try to keep waiting times for children as short as possible.
Alternative therapy options and good therapy planning for chronic infections can often avoid operations in children.
Sleep medicine
Sleep-related breathing disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring (rhonchopathy) have a major impact on the ability to concentrate and perform during the day.
In the case of insomnia, the tissue in the upper respiratory tract relaxes during sleep. This leads to a drop in oxygen saturation in the blood, sleep is not restful and you cannot perform at your best during the day.
For detailed diagnostics, the endoscopic examination of the upper respiratory tract is carried out, if necessary also during sleep.
Allergology
Allergies are the result of an overreaction in our immune system. After the allergens have been absorbed, for example through the nose, the gastrointestinal tract or the skin, a complex defense reaction occurs in the normally healthy body.
The frequency of allergic diseases has steadily increased in our society in recent years. Clarifying them is one of the focal points of my practice. In addition to the ENT medical examination, skin tests and provocation tests as well as special blood tests are carried out.
How much does a visit to my ENT doctor’s practice cost?
Elected doctors are doctors without a health insurance contract. The patient initially pays for the services provided and can have a part of the costs reimbursed by their health insurance company.
First visit
Anamnesis, review and discussion of previous findings, ENT status including endoscopy of the nose, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx and larynx, tympanometry, pure tone and speech audiogram
Follow-up visit
Follow-up checks, discussion after imaging, regular check-ups
Acute visit (e.g. pain, …)
Short-term appointments, rapid clarification and initiation of therapy for acute symptoms
Allergy assessment
Anamnesis, review and discussion of previous findings, ENT status including endoscopy of the nose, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx and larynx and prick test
Vertigo evaluation
Anamnesis, review and discussion of previous findings, ENT status including endoscopy of the nose, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx and larynx, tympanometry, pure tone and speech audiogram including vertigo clarification
Mother-Child-Passport (7th – 9th month)
Inspection of the ears, inspection of the nasal cavity and inspection of the mouth and throat including reflex audiometry
Newborn hearing test (OAE measurement)
Inspection of the ears, inspection of the nasal cavity and inspection of the mouth and throat including measurement of otoacoustic emissions (OAE)
After the treatment you will receive a fee note. If you wish, I can support you in submitting the fee note to your health insurance company! Payment can currently be made in cash or by card (Maestro, V PAY, Mastercard or VISA).
